Helping local enterprises build strong international operations lies at the heart of Nazar Global Service’s mission. As Co-founder and Head of Operations for the overseas business line, Hannah Zhang oversees HR solutions, recruitment, and contractor services for a rapidly growing client roster looking to tap into markets like the US and Europe.
“They want to develop their business overseas,” Zhang explains. “They want to be global.”
But as these clients looked beyond borders, the complexity of international workforce logistics meant Nazar faced operational friction – and, most significantly of all, hidden partner costs.
“We need partners who can provide transparent costs – that’s the most important thing.”
Hannah Zhang, Co-Founder
Expanding into new markets brings distinct operational hurdles.
Labor regulations vary drastically by region. Entering the US, for instance, involves intricate benefits and social security calculations.
“In the US, dealing with benefits, insurance, and social security is very complicated,” Zhang explains. “I have experienced many firms who mark up costs. We won’t work with them.”
A lack of transparency over costs, from hiring through to onboarding, places Nazar’s customer relationships at risk. The firm provides its clients with a detailed breakdown of expected costs and labor policies for the region. Subsequent unexpected increases or changes due to incorrect estimations could prove hard to recover from.
“We cannot give the wrong information before onboarding,” Zhang emphasises. “It will impact our client relationship.”
To support her clients’ long-term international footprint, Zhang evaluated multiple platform providers and established a partnership with Multiplier.
“Multiplier is a reliable partner. It has a very clear, easy-to-use platform and transparent costs.”
Hannah Zhang, Co-Founder
Multiplier serves as an infrastructure partner, enabling Nazar to transition client teams across markets including the US, the Netherlands, and elsewhere in Europe.
Rather than navigating multiple fragmented local vendors, Nazar leverages Multiplier’s platform to streamline client management.
“In the platform we can see the breakdown of every cost, even for social security,” says Zhang. Other platforms she has experienced, meanwhile, are too “complex” even to navigate basic functions.
This partnership approach allows Nazar’s operations team to deliver proactive compliance and reliable execution before and after every client engagement.
Whether assisting potential clients with early labor policy advice or managing complex offboarding, Nazar leans on Multiplier’s back-office and legal strength to deliver best-in-class support.
“Our value is that we provide professional knowledge for our client in each different country,” Zhang highlights. “For example, if they want to terminate an employee’s contract – the Multiplier has a strong legal team to support this. Our contact helps everything run smoothly and deliver a good service.”
Crucially, this unified partnership approach helps the complex co-ordination for expansions into the US.
“The US time zone is a huge time difference to us,” Zhang notes. “During that time we need to communicate with the US team; Viren from Multiplier help us to do that.”
As more enterprises across China and Hong Kong choose Nazar to assist with their global expansion, it will continue to lean on its strategic partnership to ensure it can offer cost transparency and timely support.
“We are seeking more opportunities to cooperate with Multiplier,” Zhang remarks.
Her parting advice for other organizations looking to expand globally, is not to settle for low quality relationships with myriad vendors.
“It’s very important for a company to choose the right partnership,” she concludes.
