Offboarding & Termination

Employers have to follow proper employment rules even during the termination of employment. They have to give notice before termination unless they have below reasons to termination:

  • Unsatisfactory performance
  • Any kind of misconduct in the workplace
  • Guilty of a criminal offense
  • Lack of qualification or skill required to perform the job

The notice period varies as per the type of employment and duration of employment.

If employers want to terminate the employment contract due to redundancy or illness, they must give severance pay. This calculation is based on the number of years an employee worked with the company.

Visa and Immigration
