Probation Period

The standard VAT rate at Namibia is 15%.

Offboarding & Termination

Termination Process: Both employers and employees can terminate the employment agreement by giving notice or payment in lieu of notice.

Visa and Immigration

Foreign nationals who want to work in Namibia shall apply for a work permit. There are two types of work visas-  short term visa and long term visa. Short term visa is 6 months long and long term visa is usually one to three years long.
